The City of Norwood Payneham & St Peters Cultural Heritage Program assists all sections of the community to understand, celebrate and benefit from the Council's rich and distinctive history. It achieves this through provision of a number of specialist historical services and activities.

Conservation advice and referral service, history research, local family history, history of local houses, streets and buildings, oral history, civic collection, guided historical tours, historical signage and plaquing programme, cultural heritage events.
The Council's Library service also houses a Local Studies Collection.
