The Payneham Community Centre offers a range of activities for people of all ages and cultural backgrounds. We provide opportunities for people to socialise, learn, be creative and improve fitness.
We aim to encourage as many people as possible to the Centre. Our activities are low cost, and provided in a friendly atmosphere with staff and instructors who help you to enjoy your activity and make you feel welcome.
Activities include:
If you would like to improve your English skills or know of somebody who does, enquire about the Centre's English Language and Literacy program. Classes are small and offer varied skills in comprehension, reading, writing, numeracy, English conversation and skills to help people in the workplace.
Classes are held:
> Tuesday and Friday 10am - 12noon
> Thursday 10am - 2pm > BYO Lunch
PLAYGROUP
Designed to provide creative play and interaction for children 0-5, the activity is also a great chance for parents and carers to relax and meet others.

YOGA
Conducted at Payneham Library Facility. Classes are welcoming for people of all ages and abilities, great for improving strength, flexibility and relaxation. Wear comfortable clothing and bring a pillow.

The Payneham Community Centre also offers a venue hire service. We have a variety of competitively priced rooms for meetings, workshops, or social functions.
